M is sized for 1/144 scale larger sized mobile suits and smaller 1/100 models.
L is sized for 1/100 scale standard sized mobile suits. Ex. MG RX-78-2 Gundam.
XL is sized for 1/100 scale larger sized mobile suits or mecha with larger hands. Ex. MG Sinanju, Zaku II, Sazabi
